Bow Vacation Cabins each contribute two properties. Cabins in Broken Bow

PriceLabs puts the median booked nightly rate at $274 across all
cabin sizes (Hochatown core, July 2026, roughly 1,000 active listings in
the area). December’s the expensive end. September and February are your
cheapest windows. Nine of the fourteen have confirmed hot tubs.

Where Hochatown Sits
Hochatown is a community in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. Head north
from Broken Bow town on US-259 and you’re there in roughly ten minutes.
The draw, honestly, is mostly the forest: Ouachita Mountain pine the
whole way, and the restaurants and small breweries that’ve grown up
around the cabin traffic sit scattered along the highway.
Beavers Bend State Park starts at the top of the corridor. Cabin
density drops off around the park entrance. Most of the fourteen
properties on this page fall somewhere in the middle section, near
enough to the park trailheads to the north and the town amenities to the
south.
Broken Bow Lake is a few miles away. It’s a 14,000-acre reservoir and
the boat ramps are driveable, but these cabins aren’t waterfront. You’re
looking at trees from the deck, not open water. That matters if
lakefront’s the priority. The Broken Bow hub

Getting there: Dallas is the biggest feeder city. Most people take
US-75 south to US-70, then up US-259 through Idabel. Budget just under
four hours. From OKC it’s about 3.5 hours: down I-35 past Ardmore, then
east through Tishomingo, then north into McCurtain County. No interstate
actually reaches Hochatown, which is probably part of the point.

2024 to July 2026 shows December hitting $412 in 2024 and $417 in 2025.

Fridays and Saturdays run 72-75% occupancy. Drop to Monday through
Wednesday and it’s 27-30%. Most guests arrive Friday and leave Sunday or
Monday. The drive from Dallas or OKC is short enough that a long weekend
covers it, so this market hasn’t developed the full-week booking pattern
you’d see somewhere like a ski destination hours from any major
city.
Booking windows shift quite a bit by cabin size. The overall market
median is 30 days, but a 1-bedroom gets booked about 21 days out and a
6-bedroom lodge locks up 56 days ahead on average. So if you’re a couple
looking at a 1-bed, a week or two out is probably fine. A big group
needing something large in peak season should plan earlier than they
